CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia gubernatorial candidates Jim Justice and Bill Cole will be busy the final 48 hours of their campaigns.
Justice, the Greenbrier County Democrat, has events with supporters planned for Sunday in Lewisburg and Monday in Rainelle, a campaign spokesman said. Justice made several stops during a bus tour that covered most of the past week.
Justice will likely make a few other appearances before polls open Tuesday morning. Justice will be at his Greenbrier Resort when the results come in Tuesday night.
Cole, the Republican from Mercer County and state Senate president, has seven rallies scheduled for Sunday and Monday beginning Sunday afternoon in Parkersburg. Cole rallies will also be held in Huntington, Beckley, Wheeling, Bridgeport, Martinsburg and Charleston.
Cole will vote Tuesday morning with his family in Bluefield and watch the results come in Tuesday night at Embassy Suites in Charleston.
MetroNews Decision 2016 coverage begins at 7:06 Tuesday night on radio stations across the state and at wvmetronews.com. We’ll have reporters at Justice and Cole election night headquarters.
